Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers is a pre-litigation and litigation personal injury firm that operates across nine locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Originally founded under Jon Ostroff, the firm is now led and owned by Managing Partner, Richard Godshall.
As the firm’s caseload grew to over 1,200 active files, the pre-litigation team was stretched thin, while the litigation team frequently felt overwhelmed by discovery deadlines. These administrative backlogs made it hard to hit the firm’s monthly KPIs for demands, settlements, and complaints.
To eliminate these manual bottlenecks and scale growth, Ostroff Godshall turned to EvenUp’s Proactive Personal Injury AI Platform™.
The firm uses Litify as its case management system. EvenUp’s engineering team worked closely with Ostroff Godshall’s operations team to build a bilateral integration between the two platforms.
The integration removes duplicated data entry by automatically syncing medical records directly from Litify into EvenUp. This is freeing paralegals and attorneys to focus on strategic case building and moving cases forward.
Before EvenUp, maintaining visibility into each client’s treatment required manually reviewing stacks of medical records. Paralegals had to piece together treatment timelines and identify critical gaps in care, such as missing MRI imaging or physical therapy. These records sometimes went unnoticed until after demands were sent, which led to delayed valuations and lower settlements.
Today, Ostroff Godshall uses Medical Management™ to help case managers and paralegals identify injuries and treatment gaps earlier in the process. The Care Timeline and Missing Docs Check features work in tandem to proactively flag missing records, such as missing imaging or physical therapy documentation, before they impact case value.
Using Companion™, EvenUp’s AI assistant, to instantly search the file for specific clinical details, the firm can proactively follow up on necessary information, ensuring a seamless transition from treatment to a fully supported demand.
